Self Floating Hose

Structure

1.Inner Tube: Synthetic rubber NR& SBR.
2.Reinforcement: Polyester fabric cord reinforcement.
3.Buoyancy Layer: Closed-cell PE foam (density ≥ 10 kg/m³).
4.Outer Tube: EPDM (Ethylene Propylene Diene Monomer) & NR (Natural Rubber) & SBR (Styrene Butadiene Rubber).
5.End Fitting: Stainless steel/Q235 material flanges in PN,JIS,ANSI,DIN,EN Standard .

Feature

1.Wear-Resistant Inner Layer: ·The inner layer is designed for excellent wear resistance, ensuring durability when transporting abrasive materials.
2.Colored Wear Indicator:
·A colored indicator in the inner layer provides visual alerts for wear and tear, enhancing safety and maintenance efficiency.
3.Durable Outer Cover: ·The outer cover offers excellent abrasion resistance and UV protection, ensuring long-lasting performance in harsh environments.
4.Foam Flotation Casing:
·A closed-cell foam flotation casing prevents water absorption, maintaining buoyancy and stability.
5.Buoyancy Assurance:
·The hose remains at least 20% above water even when filled, ensuring reliable flotation.
6.Customizable Flange Design:
·Flanges can be designed according to customer requirements, ensuring compatibility with various systems.
7.Flexible Bending Angle:
·The hose can bend at angles of 0°–45° during operation, with a maximum of 90° for short periods, providing flexibility in dynamic marine conditions.
8.Reversible Design:
·The hose has two usable sides, allowing it to be flipped and reused, extending its service life.
9.Ease of Installation and Long Service Life:
·Easy to install with secure adhesion, reducing setup time and ensuring reliable performance.
·Designed for a long service life, minimizing maintenance and replacement costs.

Advantage

Application

Floating hoses are primarily used in floating pipelines. They can be connected together to form an independent floating pipeline for material conveyance or spaced intermittently with steel pipes. However, pipelines composed entirely of floating hoses demonstrate superior performance in practical applications compared to those combining floating hoses and steel pipes.
Floating hoses are best utilized in fully floating pipelines for material conveyance, particularly in environments with strong seawater surges or extreme conditions. Their design ensures stability, durability, and flexibility, making them ideal for demanding marine applications.
1.Independent Floating Pipelines:
Self-floating hoses can be connected to form a standalone pipeline, offering excellent performance in material conveyance.
2.Combination with Steel Pipes:
While possible, combining floating hoses with steel pipes is less efficient and can lead to operational challenges.
3.Optimal Use:
Self-floating pipelines are recommended for environments with strong seawater surges or extreme conditions, as they provide better stability and durability.
